Suffolk Hotel Kesgrave Hall, really worth every Star

Suffolk Hotel Kesgrave Hall, really worth every Star

Driving back home after a walking weekend away on Suffolks heritage coast, we decided to treat ourselves to Sunday lunch before getting snarled up in Suday evening traffic and the inveriable bad coffee from a services on route.

We decided to stop at Suffolks Kesgrave Hall, which is a 4 star hotel in Ipswich, that promises family friendly and relaxed dining. The results were fantastic and worthy of a mention here at Luxury Hotel Travel.

Suffolk’s Kesgrave Hall Hotel

The bistro restaurant has everything you would expect, inventive food alongside classics such as the delightful fish and chips, a buzzing but relaxed atmosphere and wonderful service from a friendly and professional team. Although you cannot book at Kesgrave it is open all day! so you can arrive when you choose.

The ‘stay’ part of eat, drink, stay (our milsoms mantra!) could not be any more enjoyable. The Principal suites, whilst lavish and grand, are competitively priced and all bedrooms are beautifully designed and fully equipped with the very latest TVs and MP3 players. The bathroom products are lovely too!

Kesgrave Hall Bistro Restaurant

This restautrant in Suffolk is friendly, relaxed and was certainly family friendly, we had unfortunatly given our sweet child a packet of m&m’s prior to deciding to stop for lunch and all hell was breaking loose, but the staff took this in their stride.

Restaurant Menu

I believe this changes regularly,  the current Kesgrave Hall restaurant menu on their site.

Highly recommended, the smoked haddock fishcake, soft boiled hens egg, peas a la francaise £7.75 or as a main course £14.50
